I think what inspired most in this class was the persistent stimulation from my teacher Sue. I cannot speak of the whole class, but to me she was always willing to help us relate to what she was teaching. She accomplished this by relating class teachings to us, and we could identify ourselves in her. I always felt that this is what inspired me to do everything the best that I can. I also felt that that the assignments were reasonable. Nothing was impossible or too much to handle in this course. Assignments were all practical and the purpose could be easily identified.
Other than inspiring myself to write better, I did learn how to better analyze material. Before this class, I would usually take a book for a book, a movie for a movie, but I have learned to look at the book, and try to identify if the author had any other ideas in mind when writing the book. Also, I pay more attention to what forms of writing were used in order for the authors’ writing to come off effectively. I will continue to draw upon the skills I have learned in the class in all of my other classes, and look back fondly of my experiences in ENG 105.
